From June 7 to 8, 2018, the grand final of the first National collage science and technology innovation competition of green dyeing and finishing were held at Donghua University. The second meeting of the Teaching Steering Committee of Light Industry Specialty (Textile Chemistry and Dyeing and Finishing Engineering Direction) of the Ministry of Education and the International Seminar on Green Environmental Protection Dyeing and Finishing Technology was also held at the same time, with more than 30 participants from all over the country. Leaders and experts from Textile Universities and higher vocational colleges attended the event.

More than thirty-two teams and instructors from universities all over the country participated in the competition. The Liu Yang team of our hospital won the first prize for "Research on Tannin Extract Used in Rabbit Fur Dyeing" and Cai Yuhang team won the third prize for "Developing Metallized Textiles with Green Dyeing and Finishing Physical Deposition Technology". Two works got unanimous approval of the judges for their strong attraction and appeal at the grand final.

The second meeting of the Teaching Steering Committee of Light Industry Specialty (Textile Chemistry and Dyeing and Finishing Engineering Direction) of the Ministry of Education and the International Seminar on Green Environmental Protection Dyeing and Finishing Technology, which was held at the same time, invited professor Sun Gang, a Chang jiang scholar from the university of California, Davis, and professor Hu Jinlian, an expert from the national thousand talents program of the Hong Kong polytechnic university, are invited to give lectures. Leaders and experts who came from more than 30 colleges and universities in textile dyeing and finishing major such as suzhou university, tianjin university of technology, zhejiang university of technology, Beijing institute of fashion technology, xi 'an engineering university, wuhan university of textile and so on, shared experience and communicated about dyeing and finishing field of research and professional certification.

Qing Fengling expressed congratulations to all the winning teams and units, and thanked the judges from all over the country for their warm participation at the competition award ceremony. She also sent wishes to the students, “textile dyeing and finishing discipline is an important part of the construction of double first-class discipline, hope students actively participate in green dyeing and finishing technology innovation, contribute to the construction of a beautiful China.”
