He has received over ten scientific research Items, such as National 863 Program and National Science Fund, won 5 national, provincial and ministerial prizes, published 6 monographs and over 110 papers, including 26 SCI articles, been authorized 15 Chinese patents. Research interests: nano-technology and nano-materials, synthetic leather materials and cleaner production technology, leather chemicals.

Lin Wei(2006), Professor, Ph.D., doctoral supervisor, received "excellent returned student of Sichuan Province" in 2006, Outstanding Young Leading Scholars of Sichuan Province and New Century Excellent Talent of the Ministry of Education. She has won 4 provincial and ministerial prizes, published over 70 papers, and been authorized 11 Chinese patents. Research interests: collagen-based biomass chemistry and materials; tanning agents, tanning method and mechanism; environmental friendly leather chemicals.
